No. 2 Spartans Dominate Marian at Home

The No. 2 Aurora University Spartan men's hockey team dominate at home to tie a season-long win streak at seven. The Spartans overwhelmed the Sabres with two Conor Ronayne goals, winning 6-2.

How it happened-
- A slow start to the game was ended by a 15th minute Sabre goal to go up 1-0 in the first period.
- Just two and half minutes later the Spartans scored one of their own to tie game at one. Spartan Hassan Akl collected his ninth goal of the year with assists from Jacob Brockman and Andrew Schultz.
- The first period ended tied, one to one.
- Spartan Conor Ronayne would take advantage of the power-play and put AU on top with assists from Akl and Roc Truman
- AU now led 2-1, and would never relinquish the lead the rest of the game.
- Three minutes later the Spartans would strike again, this time it was Jake Code scoring on the assist from Brockman. 
- Leading 3-1 going into the third period AU would keep scoring in the remaining 20 minutes.
- In the eighth minute, Ronayne would score his second goal of the game with help from Riley Dekowny and Chase Broda, now leading 4-1.
- Marian would score their second and final goal of the game on a power-play in the 12th minute.
- Immediately answering was Spartan Blake Kondor, as just one minute later he put AU up 5-2 with an assist from Jakson Kirk.
- Ryder Many Grey Horses would also use an AU power-play to get a goal of his own, he was assisted by Chayce Schmidt and Jaden Davis to seal the Spartan win.
- AU would win by a final of 6-2 over the Sabres.
