Spartan women drop regular season finale on road

The Aurora University women's basketball wrapped up the 2025-2026 regular season with a road trip to Milwaukee School of Engineering. The contest came down to the final seconds with AU falling 56-55.

How it happened
- AU opened an early four-point lead on a three from Krystyna Manzanarez.
- The Spartans led 17-16 after one with a Riley Doggett three just before the end of the quarter.
- AU trailed heading to halftime 29-24.
- Trailing by 10 in the third, the Spartans chipped away and pulled to down two (43-41).
- MSOE finished the third on a 6-0 run and AU trailed 49-41 going to the fourth.
- Spartan Kylie Fischbach did her best to get the Spartans in the game, scoring six points on consecutive possessions late.
- Trailing by one in the final seconds, the Spartans had possession with the chance to win but came up empty.
- AU fell 56-55.
