The Aurora University men's hockey team hosted the Raiders of Milwaukee School of Engineering Friday night at Fox Valley Ice Arena. A combined 12 goals in the contest meant constant action, but AU would eventually fall 7-5.

- The Raiders would strike first in the third minute of play.
- With 20 seconds left in the period, MSOEÂ stole the puck at center ice and scored a short-handed goal. They led 2-0 at the end of the first period.
- MSOE scored their third goal of the game just three minutes into the second period, again while short-handed.
- Spartan Jakson Kirk put AU on the board one minute later with the power-play goal, he was assisted by Simon Diaz and Jaden Davis.
- AU scored again a few minutes later, this time it was Conor Ronayne with help form Hassan Akl.
- Just over halfway through the period, the Raiders scored again to go up 4-2.
- Ronayne answered right back with his second goal of the night with assists from Jake Code and Andrew Shultz.
- A power-play opportunity allowed the Raiders to score again in the final minute of the second period. They would lead 5-3 going into the final 20 minutes.
- MSOE would score again to open up the third, going up 6-3.
- AU's Kirk would collect his second goal of the night to cut the Raider lead down to one with help from Schmidt.
- With ten minutes remaining, the Raiders would take advantage of the power-play once more.
- AU would score in the15th minute of the final period when Schmidt used the power-play and assists from Akl and Diaz.Â
- AU would fall 7-5.
