The Aurora University women's lacrosse team defeated Pacific University 11-9 in game one of their spring break trip to the Northwest.

- The Spartans stormed out of the gates, taking a 5-1 lead in the first quarter.

- AU led Pacific 5-3 going to halftime.
- In the third the Spartans had to fight off a Pacific battle that saw the hosts tie the score 8-8.
- Nicoline Smith secured a hat trick with a late goal in the third to push the Spartan lead back to 9-8.
