The Aurora University men's soccer team made the long trip down to Danville, Kentucky to take on Centre College in the Bob Allen Classic. The Spartans would be down heading into the half, but a huge late goal from Adan Rueda saved the tie, and AU would tie Centre College 2-2.

- A slow start to the contest didn't see much offense until well into the first half.
- In the 30th minute, Spartan Jesus Ramos launched the ball to the back of the net giving AU a 1-0 lead with the assist from Carlos Viayra.
- It was then the Colonels scoring twice at the end of the half to snatch away the lead from the Spartans.
- Centre would take a 2-1 lead into halftime.
- The second half wouldn't yield much offense either, as the Spartans saw their chances at a tie or a win dwindle.
- Then, with 1:30 left on the clock, Adan Rueda got one past the goalie to tie the game late.
- The late goal was enough to keep the Spartans out of the loss column, and would tie 2-2 with Centre College.
