A touchdown with 16 seconds left in the game upended the Aurora University Spartans on Saturday afternoon in Mequon, Wisconsin at Concordia University Wisconsin. AU fell to the Falcons 29-28 with Spartan freshman

- The Spartans and Falcons traded punts on their first possessions with the AU defense forcing two.
- AU offense drove the field on their second possession, going 72-yards in 10-plays.

- Early in the second, CUW tied the score with a field goal.
- Following a turnover on downs by the Spartans, CUW took a 10-3 lead.
- On the next AU possession, an interception of AU quarterback
Jackson Alcorn ended the Spartan drive.
- The Spartan defense would stop the CUW drive with a goal line stand.
- When CUW attempted a 22-yard field goal, Spartan freshman
Jamari Mckay made a play.
- Mckay blocked the attempt, scooped up the loose ball and sprinted 86-yards for a touchdown to tie the game late in the second.
- The Spartans forced a CUW punt and then drove the field with the remaining time in the first-half.

Josiah Cross sacked the Falcon quarterback, forcing a fumble which
JP Chaney recovered at the 11.
- Money would connect on a 26-yard field goal and AU led 20-17.
- Spartan
Rahmello Law intercepted another Falcon pass but the offense stalled and was forced to punt.
- The AU defense again came up big, stopping CUW and forcing a punt but a roughing the kicker extended the Falcon drive.
- AU's
Michael Ingram picked up his teammate though, intercepting a fourth pass of the day for the Spartans. He returned the pick 60-yards for a touchdown and AU now led 26-17.
- The Spartan defense looked like they would get off the field quickly again but CUW converted a fourth down and scoring on a 76-yard touchdown pass.
- On the extra point try, Mckay rose up again. Mckay blocked his second kick of the game and once again scooped up the loose ball.
- This time Mckay returned the ball 89-yards for a two-point defensive pat and AU led 28-23.
- With 3:40 remaining in the game, AU recovered the CUW onside kick.
- Needing a first down to improve the chances of running out the clock, the Spartans were forced to punt.
- The final CUW drive saw all kinds of whackiness. The Falcons converted two fourth downs, one on a pass interference call.
- After the first fourth down conversion, Spartan defensive back
Fabian Mosley appeared to have intercepted the fifth pass of the day for the AU defense.
- The original call was for an interception but after a discussion and complaints from the home sideline the call was overturned.
- With the clock running down, CUW scored on the 13th play of the drive from six yards out and just 16 seconds remaining on the game clock.
- AU stopped the two-point try but trailed 29-28.
- The Spartans had two plays from deep in their own territory but were unable to mount a final scoring chance and fell by one.
