Biography

High School: Attended Hinckley-Big Rock High School where he played four years of varsity basketball under Coach Bill Sambrookes. Sophomore and junior years he was named All-Conference, Daily Chronicle All-Area, and All-State Honorable Mention and senior year he was named All-Conference, All-State 4th Team, and Daily Chronicle All-Area. He also played four years of varsity soccer under Coach Paul Taueber and was named All-Conference and Defensive MVP sophomore, junior, and senior years. He was a two-year member of the varsity baseball team under Coach Todd Prellberg.

Personal: Born 12/25/91 in Winfield, Ill.

Family: Dave and Juli Michaels. He has one brother, Rob and one sister, Rachel.
