College as a Junior ('09): Attended Aurora University and was a member of the track and field team.

College as a Sophomore (’08): Attended Morton College and was a member of the cross country team. He was named All-Conference.

College as a Freshman (’07): Attended Morton College and was a member of the cross country team. He was named All-Conference.

High School: Attended Morton East High School and participated in two years of varsity track and field and cross country. He was named Athlete of the Month during his senior season in track. In cross country his senior year, he received the Sportsmanship Award.

Personal: Born on 3/11/88 in Chicago.

Family: Olga Hernandez. He has one brother, Orlando, and three sisters, MaryEllen, Selena and Skyy.

Hobbies: Running, music, video games and watching professional basketball and baseball.
