College as a Sophomore (’08): He appeared in two games for the Spartans.

College as a Freshman (‘07): He appeared in two games for the Spartans.

High School: Attended Huntley High School and played four years of varsity soccer under Coach Kris Grabner. He was a two-time Team Captain and a two-time Team Defensive MVP. He was also named All-Conference. He also played basketball under Coach Steve Cannon and was Team MVP.

Personal: Born 1/9/89 in Arlington Heights, Ill.

Family: Jim and LeAnn McGuire. He has one sister, Jessica.
