High School: Attended Southwestern High School. Competed in four years of varsity track and field under Coach Gary Bowker. She was named Top Thrower all four years.

Personal: Born 2/21/89 in Jerseyville, IL.

Family: Keith and Jane Bruggeman. She has two brothers, Jay and Barry.

Hobbies: Camping, boating and going to the movies.

Major: Accounting.
