College as a Junior ('08): Attended Southern Illinois University where she was a member of the cross country and track and field teams.

College as a Sophomore ('07): Attended Southern Illinois University where she was a member of the cross country and track and field teams.

College as a Freshman ('06): Attended Olivet Nazarene where she was a member of the cross country team.

High School: Attended Batavia High School where she participated in three years of varsity cross country under Coach Chad Hillman, she was named All-Conference sophomore year. She was also a member of the varsity soccer team.

Personal: Born 6/10/88 in Dallas, Tex.

Family: Leslie Kalnes. She has one brother, Erik.

Hobbies: Rock climbing and backpacking.

Major: Masters in Recreation Admininstration.
