2012: Appeared in six games for the Spartans, recording one goal.

2011: Attended Aurora University and was a member of the soccer team.  He was selected as a 2011-2012 NAC Scholar Athlete.

2010: Attended Aurora University and was a memeber of the soccer team.

High School: Attended Marion High School where he played two years of varsity soccer under Coach Bart Orso. He was named All-South Seven and received the team leadership award senior year.

Personal: Born 05/29/92 in Dupage County, Ill.

Family: Steve and Sherry Newman. He has two brothers, Scott and Adam.

Hobbies: The Chicago Cubs, Chicago Fire, Chicago Bulls, playing soccer, basketball, skiing and whiffle ball.

Major: Health Science.                Minor: Spanish.
