High School: Attended Kaneland High School and played baseball for Coach Brian Aversa. He was named All-Area and All-Western Sun his senior season. He also was a member of the football team.

Family: Kevin and Kathy Claesson. He has two sisters, Stephanie and Amanda.

Hobbies: Sports and hanging out with friends and family.
