Kyle Skierski joined the Aurora University coaching staff in 2014. He will serve as the Spartans Recruiting Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach.

Skierski came to AU after spending three seasons as an offensive graduate assistant and assistant offensive line coach at Texas Christian University (TCU). In 2011, he was part of an offense that finished 9th in Scoring Offense, 10th in Pass Efficiency, 15th in Sacks Allowed and 19th in Rushing Offense.  TCU also posted an 11-2 record, a perfect 7-0 conference record on their way to a Mountain West Conference Championship and a Poinsettia Bowl victory over Louisiana Tech.  In 2012 Texas Christian entered the Big 12 and had huge wins over Virginia, Baylor, West Virginia and Texas.  TCU ended 2012 against Michigan State in The Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl.  In his three years at TCU, Skierski coached two All-Mountain West Offensive Lineman, four All-Big 12 Offensive Lineman, a Big 12 New Comer of the Year, and a Big-12 Offensive Lineman of the Year.  Skierski received his Masters in Education Administration at TCU.

Prior to his time at TCU he coached at the NCAA Division III level, serving as the Offensive Line coach at Millsaps College.  Kyle spearheaded a unit that produced the conference’s leading rusher.  Running back Shane Bowser was the SCAC Conference’s first 1,000 yard rusher in six years.  The Millsaps Offense also finished 1st in the conference in Total Offense producing over 400 yards a game, 1st in Pass Efficiency and 2nd in Scoring Offense scoring over 32 points a game.  Skierski coached four All-SCAC Offensive Lineman including 1st team selection Nathan Quick.  Skierski’s Left Tackle Adam Williams played in the Division III All-Star Game in Salem, Virginia.  Also, Millsaps Wide Receiver Michael Galatas was invited to camp with the New Orleans Saints and made the Practice Squad in 2010.

A 2006 graduate of UC Davis, Skierski started 33 consecutive games on the Offensive Line for the Aggies. His junior year the team beat Stanford on their way to the Great West Conference Championship. The win over Stanford is recognized as the biggest win in school history. He was an All-Great West Conference selection at left tackle his senior year. He was the 2006 recipient of the Aggie Pride Award, the highest honor presented to a UC Davis football player.  He received his degree in both Communications and Organizational Studies.

Skierski tried to pursue a career in the National Football League before deciding to play professionally in Europe. He played for the Danube Dragons in Vienna, Austria, Won a Championship with the La Courneuve Flash in Paris, France and was a part of the Berlin Adler before retiring and accepting a job with Anheuser-Busch in Los Angles, California.

Skierski married the former Shelby Stehling on May 25, 2013 in Bandera, Texas.
