College as a Junior ('09-'10): He appeared in two games for the Spartans, compiling five rebounds. He was selected as a 2009-2010 NAC Scholar Athlete.

College as a Sophomore (’08-’09): He played in 16 games for the Spartans, scoring 11 points and eight rebounds. He was selected as a 2008-2009 NAC Scholar Athlete.

College as a Freshman (’07-’08): He played in 12 games and was 8 for 23 from three-point range. He was named JV MVP and he was selected as a 2007-2008 NAC Scholar Athlete.

High School: Attended Kaneland High School and played three years of varsity basketball under Coach Dennis Hansen. He was named Most Improved as a sophomore, All-Conference and All-Area as both a junior and senior and Team MVP as a senior.

Personal: Born 1/5/89 in Sugar Grove, IL.

Family: Thomas and Laura Malewig. He has one brother, Jeff.
