College as Sophomore (’09): Appeared in and started all 37 games for the Spartans. She recorded 36 hits and two home runs, while being named NAC Second-Team All-Conference.

College as Freshman (’08): Appeared in and started all 45 games. She hit .441 with 63 hits, eight doubles, three triples, four home runs, 44 RBI’s and 31 runs scored. She was named to the NAC First-Team All-Conference as well as NAC All- Rookie Team. She also was named to the 2008 Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Assocation All-Region Team.

High School: Attended Lake Park High School where she played varsity softball under Coach Cray Allen. She was the Team MVP her senior season and All-Conference that year as well. She was also named Team Captain in her final season.

Personal: Born 9/26/88 in Elk Grove, IL.

Family: Mike and Robin Starr. She has three brothers and one sister.

Hobbies: Sports, music, movies and friends.

Major: Health Science.
