Aurora University men's cross country runner Drew Schmitt (Batavia, Ill./Batavia H.S.) has been named Northern Athletics Conference Men's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week.

The AU senior led the Spartans to a fourth-place team finish and placed third out of 164 runners individually at the Concordia University Wisconsin Falcon Invitational. His time in the 8K race was 26:22.4.

The next action for Schmitt and the men's cross country team comes on Friday, September 21, 2012, when they travel to Augustana College. Meet time is set for 5 p.m. at Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island, Ill.
