Aurora University women's cross country runner C.J. Houlis (Burlington, Ill./Burlington Central H.S.) has been named Northern Athletics Conference Women's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week.
The AU junior led the Spartans to their second-straight second-place finish at the Concordia University Wisconsin Falcon Invitational. She was the top NAC finisher at the meet, which included runners from seven conference teams. She finished third overall (out of 190) in the 6K with a time of 23:12.5.
The next action for Houlis and the women's cross country team comes on Friday, September 21, 2012, when they travel to Augustana College. Meet time is set for 5:45 p.m. at Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island, Ill.
