Aurora University women's cross country runner Jackie Schane has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week.

The AU sophomore finished second overall with a time of 15:01.8 as the Spartans finished second in the Elmhurst College Earlybird Invitational.

Next action for the Spartan cross country team comes on Friday, September 9 when they host the AU Spartan Cross Country Classic. Meet time is set for 5:00 p.m. at Oakhurst Forest Preserve in Aurora, Illinois.
