Aurora University women's volleyball outside hitter Peyton McKenzie has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Volleyball Student-Athlete of the Week. She is the third different Spartan to win the award this season and fifth AU recipient in six weeks.
 
McKenzie led the Spartans to a 3-1 week which included a 3-0 victory at the University of Chicago and the only loss coming to No. 11 Juniata College, 3-1. She was named to the University of Chicago Gargoyle Classic All-Tournament Team after averaging 3.71 kills per set (.279 hit percentage) over the two matches.
 
On the season, McKenzie has 275 kills and in the AU victory over the University of Chicago surpassed 1,000 kills for her career. She is averaging 3.44 kills per set and leads the team with 32 serving aces.
