Aurora University women's volleyball outside hitter Peyton McKenzie has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Volleyball Student-Athlete of the Week. This is her second time winning the honor this season, the third different Spartan to win and sixth AU recipient.
 
McKenzie led the Spartans to a 3-0 week which included a 3-1 victory over Dominican University and a 3-0 victory over Lakeland University that clinched the No. 2 seed and an opening round bye in the NACC Tournament. She averaged 3.40 kills per set and had five serving aces.
 
On the season, McKenzie has 345 kills, 3.35 kills per set with a team-leading 49 serving aces.
 
Next action for the Spartan women's volleyball team comes on Saturday, October 29 when they travel to the Benedictine University Eagle Classic. AU takes on Lake Forest College (10 am) and Loras College (12 pm) in Lisle, Illinois.
