Aurora University football junior tight end Chris Villafuerte has been named the AU Spartan Male Athlete of the Week.

Villafuerte played a huge role in the Spartan football 28-21 road victory over Rockford University. He had two catches for 52 yards and both receptions were touchdowns including the game winning score late in the fourth quarter. Villafuerte also played a big part in the AU running game that ran for 196 yards and 5.2 yards per carry.
