Aurora University junior shortstop Elaine Walker was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Position Player of the Week.
 
Walker hit .500 (7-of-14) over the four games that opened the new Spartan Athletic Park for AU. She had a grand slam, triple and two doubles among her seven hits while scoring nine runs and driving in eight. On the season, Walker leads AU in all offensive categories which includes hitting .489 with four home runs, one triple, nine doubles, 17 runs batted in and 23 runs scored.
