Aurora University sophomore baseball infielder Austin Wiskow was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Baseball Position Player of the Week. The Spartan second baseman had a tremendous week to win the honor leading into the NACC Tournament.
 
Wiskow hit .667 (10-for-15) with 14 runs batted in, scored six more runs and had four doubles as AU went 4-0 on the week and secured another appearance in the NACC Tournament. He had at least two hits in all four games last week, with three of the four ending early due to the run rule with AU sweeping Rockford University and Wisconsin Lutheran College.

Thus far on the 2018 season, Wiskow is hitting .304 with six doubles, one triple, 29 runs scored, 26 runs batted in and he is 10-of-12 in stolen bases.

Next action for the Spartan baseball team comes in the 2018 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament. AU will play on Thursday, May 10 at 1:00 p.m. against Benedictine University at the tournament location of Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon, Wisconsin.
