Aurora University senior women's soccer goalkeeper Taylor Joiner was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Defensive Athlete of the Week.

Joiner led AU to a 1-0-1 week in net last week as she went un-scored upon in 200 minutes of action. She posted 10 saves in a scoreless draw with Benedictine University, then added a couple more saves in a 1-0 win at MSOE. AU remains alive for a seed in the upcoming NACC Women's Soccer Tournament.

On the season, Joiner is 3-5-1 overall with a 1.57 goals against average. She has four shutouts with a .698 save percentage.
