Aurora University sophomore guard Julie Galauner earned a pair of top honors for her performance on the court last week. She was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week and to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week.
Galauner led AU to a 2-0 week, averaging 25 points while shooting 52 percent from the field and 12-for-23 from beyond the three-point arc. She averaged nine rebounds, five steals, and four assists on the week. In a victory over Marian University, Galauner had a double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds while then scoring 29 with six rebounds, steals and assists in a win over Illinois Tech.
On the season, Galauner is averaging a team and NACC-leading 19.2 points per game while shooting 38.4-percent from three-point range (66-172) and averaging 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.
