Aurora University women's hockey student-athlete Marisa Trevino was named the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Offensive Player of the Week following AU's 3-0 week in NCHA play.
 
Trevino becomes the third different Spartans player to earn NCHA Offensive Player of the Week honors this winter, playing a significant role in Aurora's 3-0 week that moved them to 10-3 in league play. Trevino scored three big goals in the span, with two of her goals being game-winning tally's. She started the week with the winner in a crucial matchup with St. Norbert, breaking a 1-1 tie with a late third-period goal. She followed that up with goals No. 2 and No. 3 to give her team a 3-0 lead in a 4-1 decision over Marian Friday.

Next action for the Spartan women's hockey team comes on Saturday, February 12 when they travel to Adrian College. Puck drop is set for 6:00 p.m. (cst) / 7:00 p.m. (est) in Adrian, Michigan.
