Aurora University sophomore Kelly Deterding has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Deterding earned the honor after she finished second through the first two-rounds of the 2022 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship at Aldeen Golf. She fired a two-round 161 with an opening round 73 which is the low score for any individual thus far. 

Next action for the Spartan women's golf team comes on Friday, October 7 when they compete in the 2022 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship third round at Quit Qui OC Golf in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
