Aurora University baseball senior Nik Panico was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Baseball Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Panico, a senior outfielder/designated hitter, hit .692 (9-of-17) with three home runs, three doubles, 10 RBIs, and six runs scored as AU went 2-2 last week. He slugged 1.615 with a .765 on-base percentage while adding a pair of walks. Panico hit a home run in his lone at-bat and was also hit by a pair of pitches in the first game of a doubleheader against Benedictine. He posted two doubles and a home run, driving in four, as the Spartans dropped a 12-11 slugfest in the nightcap against the Eagles. Panico was 5-for-7 in a doubleheader sweep of Lakeland, including a 4-for-4 effort with a home run, a double, three runs scored, and four RBIs in game two as AU won 21-6.
