Aurora University attackman Garret Rosiek (Blue Bell, Penn./WissAhickon H.S.) was named Midwest Lacrosse Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending April 10, 2011. 

Rosiek, a freshman, led the Spartans to a 2-0 week with wins over Fontbonne University (7-6) and Hanover College (14-3). The two wins improved the Spartans' record to 6-4 overall and 2-1 in the MLC in 2011.

In the two games, Rosiek had two goals and seven assists, including two goals and four assists in the 14-3 win at home on Vago Field over Hanover.

On the season, Rosiek has nine goals and a team-leading 17 assists for 26 points, which is second most for the Spartans.

Next action for the Spartan men's lacrosse team comes on Wednesday, April 13, 2011, when they host Milwaukee School of Engineering in a MLC contest. Game time is set for  4:00 p.m. on Vago Field in Aurora, Ill.
