Aurora University Spartan men's outdoor track and field athlete junior Evan Hackbarth (Dixon, Ill./Dixon H.S.) was named Northern Athletics Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 17, 2011. 

Competing in the indoor portion of the Spartans' schedule, Hackbarth placed second in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.72 and placed third in the high jump with a jump of 1.80 meters at the Benedictine University Eagle Invitational.

Next action for Hackbarth and the Spartan men's track and field team comes on Thursday and Friday, April 21 and 22, 2011, when they travel to the Concordia University Chicago Cougar Invitational. Meet time is set for 3:00 p.m. on Thursday and 10:00 a.m. on Friday in River Forest, Ill.
