Erin Henkel was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Volleyball Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 23-29, 2024, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.
Defense --- Erin Henkel, Middle Blocker
Henkel had 16 blocks in a week that Aurora went 2-1 with wins over Illinois Tech (3-1) and No. 17 Gustavus Adolphus (3-0). She had four blocks (two solo and two assisted) in the Illinois Tech win, added three assisted putbacks in the Gustavus Adolphus win and then had nine (four solo and five assisted) in a four-set loss at UW Platteville.
Next scheduled action for the Spartan women's volleyball team comes on Thursday, October 3 when they host Rockford University. First serve is slated for 7:00 p.m. in Thornton Gymnasium.
