Aurora University goalkeeper Alex Ageladelis was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Soccer Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

He earned the NACC honor after he led AU to a 2-0 week with a 7-0 shutout win over Concordia Chicago and a 4-1 win over Marian. In 180 minutes of action, Ageladelis made eight saves and allowed just one goal.

On the season, Ageladelis leads the Spartans (4-3-3 overall and 2-0-1 NACC) with a 4-2-2 record in goal with three shutouts, a 1.2 goals against average and a .724 save percentage.

Next action for the Spartan men's soccer team comes on Wednesday, October 2 when they travel to Rockford University. Game time is slated for 2:00 p.m. in Rockford, Illinois.
