Aurora University women's lacrosse student-athlete Kenly Axvig was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Lacrosse Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals. 

Axvig earned the weekly defensive honor after she led AU to a 10-7 season opening win over Illinois Wesleyan with five caused turnovers and two draw controls while also adding a goal in transition.

Next action for the Spartan women's lacrosse team comes on Wednesday, February 26 when they host Carthage College. Opening draw is slated for 3:00 p.m. at Spartan Athletic Park in Montgomery, Illinois.
