Aurora University sophomore Armando Acosta (men's track) has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Outdoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of March 31-April 6, 2025, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Men's Track --- Armando Acosta
Acosta, a sophomore from Aurora, Illinois, set a new Aurora record in the 1,500-meter run at the Chicagoland Championships with his time of 3:58.81. He followed that performance with a third-place finish in the 800. Acosta's 800 time of 1:54.69 currently tops the NACC performance list by nearly two seconds.

Next scheduled action for the Spartan track and field teams comes Saturday, April 12 at the Wheaton College Classic in Wheaton, Illinois.
