Aurora University senior Steven Tinsley (men's field) has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Outdoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of March 31-April 6, 2025, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Men's Field --- Steven Tinsley
Tinsley, a senior from Coconut Creek, Florida, competed in three events at the Viking Olympics on April 5. He won the shot put with a throw of 15.44 meters (50-8), then took runner-up honors in the discus throw with a new NACC-leading mark of 49.73 meters (163-2). That throw leads all NACC competitors by nearly five meters. He also finished fourth in the hammer throw with a mark of 49.90 meters (163-8). Tinsley now leads the NACC performance list in all three events and ranks 12th on NACC Division III performance list in the discus.

Next scheduled action for the Spartan track and field teams comes Saturday, April 12 at the Wheaton College Classic in Wheaton, Illinois.
