Aurora University Athletics in conjunction with BSN Sports proudly announces the recipients of the BSN Spartan Athletes of the Week award. The honors are earned based on the student-athletes performances on their respective playing surface the previous week.

This week's honors go to AU student-athlete, junior Mekhi Doby of men's basketball.

Mekhi Doby, men's basketball - 
Doby earned the honor after he led led Aurora to their 12th and 13th consecutive wins with victories over Concordia Chicago (101-79) and Lakeland (90-83). Doby averaged 18.5 points, 7.0 assists, 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals on the week. He had a double-double of 25 points and 10 assists in the win over Concordia Chicago and then added 12 points, eight rebounds and four assists in the road win at Lakeland.
