Aurora University Athletics

Aurora University junior forward Xavier Carrillo (Tempe, Ariz./McClintock HS) was named the Northern Athletics Conference Men's Soccer Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 30, 2011.
 
Carrillo led the Spartans to a 2-0 week, including a 3-0 opening-round NAC tournament win against Edgewood College. Carrillo tallied three goals including two in the win over Edgewood. He also tallied a goal in a 3-0 win over Wisconsin Lutheran College.
 
On the season, Carrillo finished with a team-leading eight goals, 19 points and a team-leading five game-winning goals as well as three assists.
 
Carrillo and the Spartans finished the 2011 season with a 10-9-1 overall record and 8-3 in the NAC.
