Aurora University junior women's cross country runner
C.J. Houlis finished 18th at the 2012 NCAA Division
III Women's Cross Country Midwest Regional hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
Her time of 22:26.97 set a new school record for AU as she finished just one second shy of qualifying for the NCAA Division III National Championship meet.
Behind Houlis and great performances by her AU teammates, the Spartans finished 14th in the 40 team regional meet.

Lena Palmer finished 90th with an AU freshman record time of 23:40.02 giving the Spartans new top times in both overall and freshman record books. Junior
Brit March set a personal best with her time of 23:54.99 which placed her 99th, freshman
Sherry Maschmeyer finished 147th with her personal best time of 24:46.40, senior
Briana Deckard finished 156th with her time of 24:57.60 and sophomore
Olivia Crump also set a new personal best finishing 170th with her time of 25:16.20.
