Box Score The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament seeding was at stake as the Spartan women's basketball team traveled to Alverno College on Tuesday Night. AU fell to Alverno 60-55.

AU will now be the No. 7 seed and travel to Concordia University Wisconsin on Saturday, February 22. Tip-off is set for 2:00 p.m. in Mequon, Wis.

In game action at Alverno, the Spartans traded leads with the home Inferno over the first eight minutes of action. After trailing by one (11-10) with 12 minutes left, the Spartans hit a cold snap offensively as Alverno finished on a 20-12 run to take a 31-22 halftime lead.

In the second-half, the Spartans trailed by double-digits for the first 12 minutes of the half  Over the next four minutes, AU went on a 9-2 run to cut the lead to three (44-41).

The Spartans stayed within striking distance of the lead in the final minutes but did not have enough to overtake the Inferno and would fall by five as the final buzzer sounded.

Spartan sophomore Shannon Koski had 21 points to lead all scorers, senior Shay Jenkins had 17 points and sophomore Anna Roszkowski had eight points and 14 rebounds.

With the loss, AU finishes the regular season with a 12-13 overall record and are 11-9 in the NACC.
