The Aurora University men's and women's track and field teams are sending their first ever contingent to the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa this weekend.

The Drake Relays are one of the biggest and oldest annual track meets held in the United States; this year will be the 105th running, and average daily attendance is expected to be around 15,000.

Fifteen Spartans will be running on six relays on Friday and Saturday. The AU women will run the 4x100 (8:58 a.m. Friday), 4x200 (12:51 p.m. Friday), 4x400 (1:57 p.m. Friday), and sprint medley (9:00 a.m. Saturday) relays.

Men will run the distance medley at 11:25 a.m. on Friday and the sprint medley at 9:20 a.m. on Saturday.
