The Aurora University Spartans traveled to Benedictine University on Wednesday night and had a tough night after the first 10 minutes of the game, losing to the No. 7 Eagles 90-62.

HOW IT HAPPENEDFive minutes into the first-half the Spartans trailed BU 12-11.
A 9-0 run by Benedictine forced an AU timeout with 13:19 to play.
A 6-0 AU run cut the lead to four (21-17) midway through the half.
Benedictine then used a 20-1 run and built a 23 point lead at 41-18 with three minutes remaining.
AU trailed 50-25 at halftime.
The Spartans finished the second half and fell 90-62.
