The Aurora University women's basketball team will enter the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference tournament for the sixth time in 10 NACC seasons. The Spartans finished the 2015-2016 regular season with a 15-10 overall record and 14-6 in the NACC to earn the fourth seed. In doing do, AU will host the fifth seed Lakeland College Muskies in Thornton Gymnasium on Tuesday, February 23, with a 7:00 p.m. tip-off.

All-Time NACC Championship History –- AU has made the NACC Tournament five times is the past with a record of 1-5.
- AU's best finish in the NACC Tournament was back in 2006-2007 and 2008-2009 when they finished third.
- AU will host a NACC Tournament game for the first time since the 2008-2009 season when they hosted and defeated Lakeland College.
- Wisconsin Lutheran College is the five-time defending NACC Tournament Champion and has won six of the nine tournaments.

About NACC Opponents – - Lakeland has been to the NACC tournament seven previous times with a record of 3-6. Lakeland won the regular season and tournament championship in 2010.
- Top seeded Concordia Wisconsin went 20-5 on the season 17-3 in the NACC.
- Wisconsin Lutheran College (No. 2 seed) and Milwaukee School of Engineering (No. 3 seed) round out the other potential favorites to win the NACC Tournament.
