The Aurora University men's soccer team clinched the second seed and a first-round bye in the upcoming Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament with a convincing 7-0 victory over Concordia University Chicago on Wednesday afternoon.

- The Spartans controlled the tempo early but the score remained 0-0.
- In the 26th minute it appeared as if the Spartans had taken a 1-0 lead but offsides was ruled and the score remained 0-0.
- Almost eight minutes later,
Collin Foreman struck as he gathered a rebound off an
Edgar Soto shot and AU led 1-0.
- 1-0 would be the score heading to halftime with the Spartans maintaining a 12-0 advantage in shots.
- AU went ahead 2-0 in the 51st minute with
Edgar Soto sending a corner kick in front of the box to
Henry Zehnal who buried his fourth goal of the year.
- In a span of 2:36 from 67:04 to 69:40 the Spartans scored three times to put the game out of reach.
