The Aurora University women's lacrosse team played come from behind to grab a victory away from Southwestern University on Tuesday night. The Spartans out scored the hosts 9-2 in the second-half for the 14-13 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU was in the contest midway through the first half, down 4-3 behind goals from Andrea Colford, Taylor Arcivar and Marina Kanner.
- The Spartans got out scored 7-2 in the final 15:27 of the opening half to head to intermission down 11-5.
- The teams traded a goal each in the first 10:11 of the second-half and the score was 12-6 Southwestern.
- After winning the ensuing draw control, AU started their comeback.
- AU scored four times in the next 10 minutes, coming from Kristina Krokosz, Colford and Arcivar.
- Southwestern scored to end the AU run and with five minutes left to play, AU was down 13-10.
- The Spartans continued to press and after a pair of Colford goals and one from Ellie Blake, AU pulled even (13-13) with 2:09 to play. Arcivar assisted on the game tying goal.
- With 1:12 to play, Spartan goalie Reilly Armstrong made a game saving save on a free position attempt, picked up the ground ball to start the AU transition game.
- As the shot clock wound down, Arcivar found Colford with a pass and with 14 seconds left on the clock, Colford scored the game winning goal to give the Spartans their first win of 2018.
