HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU held a 11-0 lead at the end of the first quarter with five goals coming from
Josh Boyko and four goals coming from
Harrison Canaday.
- The lead grew to 21-0 at the end of the first half, which included
Josh Boyko scoring his record tying ninth goal of the game with 3:35 remaining in the half.
- The Spartans picked up right where the left off in the second half and poured on the goals.
Josh Boyko scored his record breaking 10th goal with 3:57 remaining in the third quarter. AU led 28-0 at the end of the third quarter.
- AU went on to win 30-3.
