The Aurora University men's hockey team battled back from an early 3-0 deficit to force overtime in the semifinal of the Harris Cup Playoffs at St. Norbert College but fell with less than a minute to play in overtime 5-4.

- St. Norbert scored even strength, on the power play and short handed in the first period to roar out to a 3-0 lead on AU.
- A 30 second span early in the second period put the Spartans right back in the game.
- In the 30 seconds, AU got two goals, one each from
Larry Jungwirth and
Matt Weber to cut the deficit to one at 3-2.
- Jungwirth got the scoring started at 4:42 with an assist from
Brendan Blair.
- Then 30 seconds later Weber scored with
Simon Boyko and
Riley Doyon assisting.
- 48 seconds later SNC scored to push their lead back to two at 4-2.
- A power play got with 7:53 left in the second got AU right back in the contest.

Brayden Sampson and
Gio Procopio havinf assists.
- The game remained 4-3 well into the third.
- With 5:44 left in the game, the Spartans drew even.

Riley Doyon scored the equalizer with a
Matt Weber assist.
- The game would head to the sudden death overtime 20 minute periods.
- The first overtime was physical and well played hockey.
- With 37 seconds remaining, a SNC defensemen fired a slap shot off the boards towards the AU net. That shot found its way past AU goalie
Josh Boyko who played exceptional.
- The goal would end the game and AU would see the season come to an end with a 5-4 overtime loss.
