College as a Freshman ('09): Attended Western Illinois University and was a member of the football team.

High School: Attended Geneva High School where he played four years of varsity football under Coach Rob Wicinski, he was named WSC Defensive MVP senior year. He also played four years of varsity baseball for Coach Mat Hahn and was named All-Conference sophomore, junior and senior years.

Personal: Born 7/29/91 in Downers Grove, IL.

Family: Patrick and Mindy Hofstetter. He has one sister, Danielle.
 
Hobbies: Bowling, Xbox 360 and swimming.
