Aurora University women’s cross country runner Emily Paull (Somonauk, Illinois/Somonauk H.S.) has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women’s Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week.
 
The AU senior finished second as the Spartans finished second in the Elmhurst College Early Bird Invitational. Paull’s time of 14:59.2 in the 4k race was just 1.2 seconds off the winning time.
 
Next action for the Spartan cross country team comes on Friday, September 5 when they host the 2014 AU Spartan Cross Country Classic. Meet time is set for 5:00 p.m. at Oakhurst Forest Preserve in Aurora, Illinois.
