Aurora University football sophomore running back Tyran Bailey was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Offensive Student-Athletes of the Week.

All Bailey did to earn the NACC weekly honor was set an AU single-game with 295 rushing yards in the Spartans' 41-24 victory at Benedictine University. The rushing yardage came on 29 carries, for an average of 10.2 yards per rush and he scored three times.The previous AU single-game mark was 276 yards set by Geary Pryor also against Benedictine on October 5, 2002.

On the season, Bailey is closing in on the 1,000-yard mark as he currently has 931 yards on 137 carries while scoring seven touchdowns on the ground. He is averaging 103.44 yards per game and 6.8 yards per carry. Additionally he has 16 catches for 106 yards in the passing game.
